Deluxe Split – Dubrovnik – Split Croatia Cruise
Cruise the beautiful Croatian coast in the luxury you deserve. On your Croatian island hopping tour, you will enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic sea and discover the natural beauty and the historical magic of the medieval towns of Croatia. Our local experts will make your Croatia sailing trip an unforgettable experience.
Day 1 SPLIT (D)
Your Croatian island hopping holiday starts in Split. Split is a spectacular city full of history and architectural monuments. The most famous one of these is the Roman Diocletian Palace which also happens to be a UNESCO world heritage site. Provided you don’t arrive late you can enjoy a guided tour of this magnificent city. After the tour you will be greeted with welcome cocktails on board. The first night will be spent in Split.
Day 2 SPLIT – KORČULA (B,L)
Next stop is the birthplace of Marco Polo, Korčula Island. The town of Korčula dates back to the 13th century. There will be a guided tour and a wine tasting at a local winery. Afterwards you can try one of the many restaurant on the seafront. Or you can try a konoba to experience proper Dalmatian cuisine.
Day 3 KORČULA – MLJET/DUBROVNIK (B,L,D)
Next on our Croatian cruise is the island of Mljet. Your cruise manager will take you to the salt lakes in the peaceful Mljet National Park. A monastery and a church on St. Mary Island are on your list too. Alternatively, scooters, bikes and kayaks are available to rent. After lunch we will head for the jewel of Croatia, Dubrovnik. Before docking, the captain will cruise around the medieval city walls for best views.
Day 4 DUBROVNIK (B)
After breakfast we leave for the guided walking tour of Dubrovnik, a city which was described as “heaven on earth” by the famous writer George Bernard Shaw. For some spectacular views of the old town we will take the cable car ride up to the Srđ mountain. We recommend a walk through Stradun and on the famous city walls. Dubrovnik is considered to be one of the 10 best preserved medieval walled cities in the world.
Day 5 DUBROVNIK – PELJEŠAC PENINSULA (B,L,D)
After Dubrovnik our next stop is a small seaside village of Kučišće on Pelješac peninsula. The village is famous for its renowned wine. Later on, we will go further inland to explore rural Croatia, heading for Kuna village. After some sightseeing we will visit a local farm and enjoy a traditional Croatian dinner party featuring some great tasting local dishes and delicacies. Late evening we will hit the road to get back to our boat.
Day 6 PELJEŠAC PENINSULA – HVAR (B,L)
Following a swimming break at Pakleni Island we will head for the sunshine island Hvar. As usual there will be a guided tour of the town. A renaissance era cathedral and the oldest community theatre of Europe which was built in 1612 can be seen on this spectacular island. Hvar offers great restaurants, cafes, bars and a world famous nightlife.
Day 7 HVAR – BOL / MILNA (B,L,CD)
Today we set sail for the island of Brač. Enjoy the most famous beach in Dalmatia, Zlatni Rat, and its crystal clear sea. Then we will visit Bol, a charming fishermen’s village where we will also spend the night. On the last night of your Croatia boat cruise we thought the captain’s farewell dinner would be a nice gesture. Enjoy.
Day 8 BOL – SPLIT (B)
After enjoying your final breakfast on board your Croatia sailing holiday comes to an end. You’ll disembark with an air of relaxation and head full of memories. A private transfer to Split airport will be arranged for you.
